   The 14th Ministerial Conference (MC-14) of the World Trade Organization was held on March 30, 2026, in Yaoundé, Cameroon, where critical issues related to global trade were discussed. India was represented at this conference by Piyush Goyal.

8. GST Collection Hits ₹1.78 Lakh Crore in March 2026: What Are the Key Drivers Behind the Surge?
   In March 2026, India’s GST collection was recorded at ₹1.78 lakh crore, while gross GST revenue neared the ₹2 lakh crore mark, reflecting the country’s robust economic health and stable demand. During this period, a growth of 8.2% was recorded on a monthly basis and 8.8% on an annual basis, signaling a consistent improvement in tax collection.
