1. C-DOT Awarded the Skoch Award 2025 for Cell Broadcast Solution

India's premier telecom research organization, C-DOT (Centre for Development of Telematics), has been awarded the SKOCH Award 2025 for its indigenous Cell Broadcast Solution (CBS) technology, presented at the 104th SKOCH Summit. This technology is an advanced digital warning system capable of simultaneously sending disaster-related messages to all mobile phones in geographically targeted areas via cellular networks.

2. India on Track to Become an Upper-Middle-Income Country

India's economy is entering a new economic phase due to continuous structural reforms and a rapid growth rate. According to a recent report by the State Bank of India, India is on track to become an upper-middle-income country by the end of this decade.

3. India Ranks 16th in the Responsible Nations Index

India has achieved a significant milestone in the assessment of global responsibility and ethical governance, securing the 16th position among 154 countries in the Responsible Nations Index. This ranking underscores the fact that a nation's global role is determined not only by its economic or military power but also by its responsible and ethical conduct.

4. Renowned Designer Valentino Garavani Passes Away

The renowned Italian fashion designer Valentino Garavani has passed away at the age of 93, marking the end of a golden era in the global fashion world, particularly in haute couture. 7. China's Population Sees Sharp Decline for the Fourth Consecutive Year

According to the latest figures, China's total population has fallen to approximately 1.404 billion, with only 7.92 million births this year, significantlym lower than the previous year.
